Butcher’s Nook in Mount Dora is a cozy, unhurried butcher shop with a sandwich menu that seriously overdelivers.
We ordered two of their sandwiches: the Burrata Bliss, piled with mortadella, crispy pancetta, burrata, arugula, tomato confit and garlic basil aioli on ciabatta, and The Nooky, prosciutto di Parma, burrata, fig jam, Grana Padano, arugula and a balsamic glaze on focaccia. The Nooky was definitely our favorite. The focaccia, sourced from a local baker, was the kind of bread you’ll be dreaming about long after you leave.
