Jackson’s is a downtown Pensacola staple, and for good reason. It’s elegant and classy without being overly pretentious. Inside feels like a traditional steakhouse, warm and inviting in a way that makes you feel like you’ve traded the Gulf Coast for a woodsy mountain lodge.
The menu goes well beyond steak, which is honestly part of what we love about it. I ordered the open fired grouper served with a coconut milk Thai red curry sauce, sugar snap peas, sweet peppers, carrot, onion, cilantro and jasmine rice. So good. But if you’re a regular, you already know the blue crab beignets are non negotiable.
Don’t skip the Watermelon Spritz either! This cocktail features a housemade watermelon and strawberry purée, Aperol, fresh citrus and prosecco. It’s what I like to think a Florida summer themed drink should taste like.
This is one of our go to for celebrations. Florida casual dress code, so no need to overthink the outfit.
