A little retreat just blocks away from Bourbon Street, this Michelin Key award winning hotel sits at the top of my list for best hotel in New Orleans.
Address: 546 Carondelet Street,
New Orleans, LA 70130
The Hotel:
At first glance, the hotel lobby reads art deco, old Hollywood glamour. This is niche, but think Tower of Terror aesthetic: checkered flooring, deep reds, and gold accents, all layered with a moody flair. This almost gothic decor has found the perfect home in New Orleans, tucked right between iconic Magazine Street and the heart of the French Quarter.
The Amenities:
The hotel isn’t just glamorous, the amenities are what truly set it apart. There’s a daily happy hour with charcuterie and unlimited wine pours, afternoon iced tea, cookies before bed, and a morning coffee service delivered straight to your room. Breakfast is top tier, especially the crab cake benedict you’ll be dreaming about long after checkout.
